In Search of Rock and Roll Thrills in Mexico: Part 5

In the early days of rock and roll instrumentals were hugely important. This went double for groups whose first language wasn’t English. Today I’m going to indulge myself with a track with no lyrics.
Here are Los Baby’s with ‘Jinetes en el Cielo’, their wild instrumental version of ‘Ghost Riders in the Sky’ from 1965. Formed in the late 1950s, they became one of the most popular native Mexican groups of the 1960s.
