BYE BYE ‘BREAKING BAD’…

The acclaimed TV show Breaking Bad finished a few days ago. Fans might like to shed a tear into their crystal meth while listening to this track. It featured in the sixth episode of Season 3, while the mobile drugs lab was being consumed by the crusher. You can nostalgically watch the video below, but that version of the song is incomplete so I’ve included the full version above.

Los Zafiros were a great Cuban vocal group who sang their unique take on doo-wop during the 1960s. They have appeared on a previous post. This song is a great vehicle for the stunning counter-tenor voice of Ignacio Elejalde and the tasty guitar playing of Manuel Galbán. I’ve included the chords below – these were more difficult to work out than the lyrics!

.

HE VENIDO

.

He venido a decirte

Que te sigo queriendo.

He venido a decirte

Que te sigo amando.

Que quiero estar contigo

Cada día más y más.

.

He venido a decirte

Que nada ni nadie

Podrá separarme

Ni podrá arrancarme

De mi alma tu amor.

.

Por tu amor soy capaz

De enfrentarme a cualquiera.

Por tu amor soy capaz

De dar mi vida entera.

.

He venido a decirte

Que te sigo queriendo

Que te sigo amando

Que te sigo adorando

Cada dia más y más.

I HAVE COME

.

I’ve come to tell you

That I still love you

I’ve come to tell you

That I still love you

That I want to be with you

More and more each day

.

I’ve come to tell you

that neither anything nor anyone

Can separate me

Or tear me away from

My soul – your love

.

For your love I’m capable of

Facing up to anything

For your love I’m capable of

Giving my entire life

.

I’ve come to tell you

That I still love you

That I still love you

That I still adore you

More and more each day

.
