With the Spanish economy still struggling through ‘la crisis’, we turn to Patrullero Mancuso (one of the most aclaimed Spanish Indie bands of the nineties).
‘Mi Vida Va Bien’ (My Life’s Going Well) is a sarcastic single from 1999. It also appears on their final LP ‘Bodegón Musical’ (Musical Still Life).

MI VIDA VA BIEN
.

En amores… muy bien

Los amigos… muy bien

Por no hablar de la familia

Todos bien

*

El trabajo… muy bien

En el paro… muy bien

Cuando miro hacia el futuro

Lo veo bien

*

Todo va bien

Mi vida va bien

¡Que feliz que soy!

*

Con la droga… muy bien

La bebida… requetebién

Mi salud cotiza en bolsa

¡Jo que bien!

*

Los problemas… muy bien

Mi conciencia… requetebién

Siempre duermo a pierna suelta

¡Jo que bien!

*

Todo va bien

Mi vida va bien

¡Que feliz que soy!

MY LIFE’S GOING WELL
.

In love… going well

My friends… very well

Why not talk about the family

Everyone well

*

Work… going well

On the dole… going well

When I look into the future

It looks good

*

Everything’s going well

My life’s going well

How happy I am!

*

On drugs… going well

Drink… wonderfully well

My health, it’s stock is high

Oh how great!

*

My problems… going well

My conscience… very well

I always sleep like a baby

Oh how great!

*

Everything’s going well

My life’s going well

How happy I am!

*
